Watch and listen to each step in a lesson first. Click Try It to do each step yourself in Director. Once you click the Try It button, the Learning Director movie window collapses to let you try each step on the Director stage. Nothing will happen until you try a step. When you finish, click Go Next. If you get lost, click Go Back to start playing the lesson again.
1. Open the Score's Effects Channels.
2. Double-click the transition channel at frame 30.
3. In the Transition dialog box, choose the Dissolve, Pixels Fast transition.
4. Drag the the transition to frame 40. Before releasing the mouse button, press the Alt key (Windows) or the Option key (Macintosh). Be sure NOT to press Alt or Option before you begin dragging.
5. Play the movie to see what you've done. Click Stop when you're done.
